RACING
Prices remain the same and 19 home games are guaranteed, plus the RFEF Cup, compared to the 13 games that were played last year at El Sardinero
The great novelty of the presentation of the 21/22 season ticket campaign for Racing had its own name: Pablo Torre. The great green and white hope, image of the campaign, made his first public demonstrations this morning, after last season, in agreement with the player and his family, Racing decided to keep Soto de la Marina away from the noise media. He was chosen to accompany Víctor Diego, responsible for the social area and who in his day was, like Pablo, a Marina Sport and Racing player.
Beyond the young player's declaration of principles, "I am where I have always wanted to be, at Racing, and I am very excited to participate in the season ticket holders' campaign", and the appearance did not bring much news since, as AS revealed, the Racing has decided to maintain the prices of recent seasons. In relation to the last one, in which only 13 games were played at home, and given that for this exercise 19 League games are guaranteed in El Sardinero, plus those that may occur in the successive RFEF Cup qualifiers, if Racing progresses in this competition, it is clear that the average price per game will be much lower. In the club they want to make value as a commercial claim, in addition, that the First RFEF is more attractive than the extinct Second B and that Rayo Cantabria will play this season in the Second RFEF and their matches (some in El Sardinero) are also included in the season ticket .
In the last pre-pandemic campaign, 19/20, in Second Division, Racing reached 12,002 subscribers in the Christmas campaign, while last year, in Second B, they did not exceed 8,263. The initial objective of this season ticket holder, that are already on sale, is to recover at least half of the 3,739 members who unsubscribed and once again reach the figure of 10,000 subscriptions sold. It won't be easy because many of the racing fans got used to watching football on television (when they were able to go to El Sardinero, the number of tickets authorized by the Government of Cantabria was never exhausted). In addition, there is a part of the population of Cantabria, and many of them will be racing fans, it is assumed, they are still reluctant to attend mass events. The motto chosen this year, 'Normality can be extraordinary', refers to Racing's desire to meet up again with the racing fans at El Sardinero.
The return will not be automatic
Racing is going to return the proportional value of the games that were played behind closed doors last season, 4 of 13, 30%. But that return will not be automatic, but rather has several conditions:
- You must request this refund in writing from the club.
- It is a process parallel to that of subscription renewal. It can be claimed even if it is not renewed and in no case will it serve as a discount in the case of renewal.
- In the event that the subscriber uses his password to watch one of the games played behind closed doors for free on the club's website, that day will not generate a discount.
- There is no date limit to request the return of unused money in the 20/21 campaign.
Ticket prices will once again be between 75 and 225 euros for the general public and between 40 and 100 for racing fans between 6 and 17 years old. The only discounts that are maintained are for the shareholders, while the Gold and Silver members, 50 and 25 years uninterrupted, respectively, will pay the same as the others, although they will have discounts in the official store and will have the Copa del Rey included, if Racing plays it: completely the most veteran and the first round those who have been sitting in the Campos de Sport for a quarter of a century.
Idk what got into me but I'm now considering a home birth. It makes me a bit nervous but I literally live two block… https://t.co/1YREmvjred
