Blanca Suárez: "I have two underwear drawers, in which I keep everything from sports tops to bizarre lace pieces"
The actress confesses laughing that she loves underwear, tango is so she doesn't keep it in just one drawer, but she needs two. And how do you choose it every morning? "I have everything, from sports tops to the most bizarre lace, and I don't differentiate days to wear one thing or another. I never think: 'Today is a special day, I have a date and I'm going to wear this, in case it ... I just get out of the shower one day and put on this amazing outfit. It's how I feel at the time."
And the thing is that Blanca likes to play with fashion, both inside and out. For her, "it's a tool, I have a lot of fun watching it and participating in it. Every time I have to think about how I'm going to dress, make-up and comb my hair, I have a great time".
You can see her from time to time in her red carpet looks, where she has walked, for example, with sneakers or an absolutely masculine suit, something that others might not have dared: "Yes, that it can be good and also terrifying, but what is clear is that it is fun. I let myself be advised, but those who work with me know that sometimes I am bloody, meticulous and a perfectionist".
A SERIES AND TWO FILMS
Blanca becomes serious when talking about work. He has a series released on Netflix a month and a half ago, 'Jaguar', in which he plays a Nazi hunter and that he would love to see continued in a second season, and two films that have not yet seen the light of day: 'The fourth passenger' (Álex de la Iglesia) and 'The test' (Dani de la Orden). In the first, she plays a young girl and in the second, a psychologist.
THE ETAM SHOW: THE TWO FACES OF UNDERWEAR
She does not identify with any of these characters, because she always remains Blanca: "The goal is to create a little person from scratch, to compose all the pieces of the puzzle, because if you start putting things about yourself, you end up making yourself" . The actress affirms that she does not care about making series or films, because "right now everything is very mixed, the way of working is no longer different."
Blanca remembers her beginnings, 16 years ago. He has been in front of the screen since he was 17 and he does not consider that one day, as the years go by, the type of roles that he is offered will change or even that they will stop coming: "Each career is a different world, you have to go seeing how each one is growing and step by step. There are some uncertain ages and it cannot be denied that there is another generation that is already there, the 20-year-olds".
WHAT THE FUTURE WILL BRING
An unfulfilled dream? "I have not had dreams or goals, therefore I have not had great frustrations either. What I have done and what has happened to me I have valued as if it were the best in the world, and many things have been."
As jobs come and go, Blanca feels very comfortable with her current life. "Honestly, I would ask to stay as I am. And continue to have a job, I always have and I hope it continues like this, although it would be very unlikely; and health for me and for the people I love. I hope everything continues as it is."
For now, he wants a bit of calm, because "it's been a very intense summer, I haven't stopped shooting, I haven't been home practically and now it's time to land and reorganize my head, although there are projects on the table for luck".
