The National Sports Games return without an audience | The nation
The National Sports Games will be held from October and will end in December, in different sports venues within the Greater Metropolitan Area, as indicated this Tuesday by the Minister of Sports, Karla Alemán
A total of 23 disciplines will be taking place. Among the main health measures for the event are physical distancing during the movement of athletes to the event venue and the mandatory use of a mask in the means of transport.
In addition, it must be guaranteed that crowds are not promoted and the hand washing protocols must be followed and alcohol gel for personal use must be carried at all times.
During the development of the tests, the specific protocol approved for each discipline will be applied to all competitions, a specific warm-up area will be assigned where athletes can perform pre-competitive exercises for a certain time.
Only hydration will be provided in a closed bottle or each athlete must carry their personal hydration bottle.
Likewise, each athlete and delegation will be assigned a certain time to carry out the health protocols (change of clothes, hand washing, others) and leave the competition area and go to their sports delegation.
It will not be allowed to socialize in that area or its surroundings, the required distance must always be maintained. A minimum time necessary for the departure of the participants or delegations will be established once their competition has finished.
The calendar of official competitions will be announced in the coming days
