These are the Team Saavedra cards for the Vuelta al Táchira 2022

Starting tomorrow, Norte de Santander will be represented in the 57th edition of the Vuelta al Táchira with the Team Saavedra Cúcuta team that will be in the classic Venezuelan race with six riders.

Headed by former cyclist and sports director Raúl Saavedra, the cast that has black as its representative color in their uniforms, will seek to fight for the title and leave the name of red and black cycling high between January 16 and 23 at 8 stages that this edition will feature (1,026 km).

Saavedra is aware that the challenge is complex but that there are talents to aspire for the championship after a arduous preparation for three months.

In the 2021 season, the Norte Santander squad occupied box 11.

The race will begin tomorrow with a stage between the town of Tariba and San Cristóbal with a total distance of 123.9 km. The event will be attended by the current champion and favorite, Roniel Campos, a member of the Deportivo Táchira team.

Team Saavedra, which is sponsored by Arroz Gelvez, is the only team in the region. For Colombia there will also be Orgullo Paisa, Team Gesprom, Herrera Sport, JB Ropa Deportiva and Bici Sport Neiva.

A total of 27 teams will participate (10 international and 17 local).
