In an interview with Howard Stern, Clooney recounted how he began his relationship with his wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney.

A mutual friend introduced them when Clooney was on Lake Como, Italy. They spoke to each other for months, but Clooney waited to woo her. He then invited her to a film soundtrack recording session at Abbey Road Studios in London, and went after her once he knew her feelings were reciprocated.

"We went out to dinner and...the romance started real quick," Clooney said. "It was pretty clear to me once ... I knew she was interested, I think we've been together ever since."

The couple married and have twin girls, Alexander and Ella.
