Do you want to give a different gift? Then you have to visit these markets in Cantabria
SERGIO SAINZ Santander
Christmas, time of illusion. Of reunions. Moments to share sincere emotions. And time to give. There is no act more generous and involving so much affection. Think of a person, whether small or old, and something tailored to him that lights up his face when he discovers it. Those who have the most homework are Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men who, due to the many clues accumulated during the year, give everything to surprise on their magical dates.
This 2021 with the crisis of electronic components and many supplies from China, they have to be ingenious. Luckily, in Cantabria we have a few original markets, safe bets for local, artisan and creative trade, which in the coming weeks will make the shopping experience special. Take note!
From December 7 to 9 at La Nave Q Late (Santander)

The second edition of this unique action is already open this Wednesday 7th, for three days it will try to repeat the success with an essence that is born from a sustainable premise. «We believe in the value and beautiful energy that these second-hand objects have, which makes them unique, special... Since I was young I have been looking for unique furniture and objects, and I also like to see how the decorative sector has evolved, but there is always a piece that takes on the essence of whoever lived it”, explains Mela Revuelta, one of its organizers. She defends the "duende" of reconverting everything that is the protagonist of this event, as well as "giving light to this corner of Santander at the gates of the Fishing District."
Her accomplice Tulia Valente has filtered the objects, prioritizing furniture with the idea that visitors can "decorate their house for the holidays, change something, they will find opportunities and authentic pieces." She makes it clear that "we are not a Christmas market, but we do have original decorations and 'vintage' pieces." In addition, there will also be some second-hand clothes, coordinated by the expert styling coach Arantza Montes de Neira (@mamasdepurpurina).
Hours: From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
