Argentine
The country extended preventive and mandatory social isolation until July 17.
Modifications to the Labor Contract Law are discussed in the Argentine Congress to regulate teleworking. The modifications contemplate the right to disconnection, the obligations of employers and the guidelines for collective bargaining.
A reform on urban locations has been introduced in the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation. In this, obligations of the parties, guarantees, renewal, adjustments of the rental fee and methods of conflict resolution are indicated.
Mexico
This Monday, the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property restarted its activities.

Brazil

The Executive published the emergency decree with complementary measures to mitigate the economic effects caused to workers and employers by COVID-19. In this, it is established that there will be continuity of Social Security health benefits for all workers in perfect suspension of work, for the entire duration of the suspension. Likewise, it provides as compensatory measures for these workers a compensation for time of service (CTS) for up to a monthly labor remuneration.

Colombia - Tax exemptions in the States
The government of Iván Duque empowered governors and mayors to reduce taxes in their territories. Until now, the municipalities of Tunja and Cali have used their power to modify their tax calendars.
The Executive announced social bonds for families with economic difficulties and for young people. Additionally, financial and banking entities such as Bancolombia, Banco de Bogotá and BBVA have created plans to freeze credit and interest rates for their users.
Chile - Credit facilities
The Central Bank reported that, in order to provide liquidity to the economy, it will make available the conditional credit facility to increase placements, a special financial line for banking companies. The purpose is to refinance loans to households and companies that do not have access to the capital market.
Argentina - Eliminate commissions
The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) announced that financial entities may not charge fees or commissions for any operation, be it deposits, withdrawals, inquiries, among others. Neither are operations carried out with the use of ATMs.
Costa Rica - Suspension of work contracts

Chile - Mandatory isolation
