Equipment for motocross and hard _ Moto1Pro
Boots
Boots are fundamental. Its rigidity and hardness make it a crucial element to protect our foot, ankle, and Shin. They must be comfortable from the very beginning. Especially on the foot. The boots give in very little and you'D better feel comfortable with them from the very first moment. That's why it's key to know how to choose them. Also look at the closing buckles, the inner comfort of the boot (or inner booty in some models), and the sole. The drawing of the latter will allow us to differentiate between the hard and the mx, as the hard ones will have to have more grip.
Peto
Although it is not common to see it in official pilots, we recommend to practice off road the use of integral pets that protect the entire upper train: chest, back, elbows and shoulders. In the event of a fall we will always be well covered, even if it reduces our comfort in the movements.
Rollers
And finally the knee pads. These are vital because they protect our joint and can prevent major injuries. In addition to removing the impact on the ground, if we choose orthopaedic knee pads, we will avoid knee torsion, the main reason for rupture. They are one of the most expensive items, but it will be crucial to protect the lower train.
Trousers and T-shirt
On these protections, we'll put on our clothes, both trousers and T-shirts. Most pants incorporate elastic parts for more comfort when bending the legs and padded on the knees and hips. In addition, they are usually made of very resistant, and normally waterproof, anti-abrasion materials.
In order to improve comfort and prevent our protection from being sprayed, it is highly recommended to wear technical clothing below. With a thermal T-shirt, meshes, or long socks, we will not be protected from the cold, but will allow the protections to slide.
What about trial?
There are other offroad specialties, such as the Trial, which require more specific equipment due to their technical requirements. The trial equipment is lighter, adjusted and elastic, designed to promote the continuous mobility of the trial pilot in the areas. Trial helmets are open to offer greater visibility and their average weight is around 900 grams. Another key point in the equipment are trial boots, whose flexibility is much greater than that of a hard boot or motocross, allowing a greater touch of the rear brake and freedom of movement over the stripes.
Recently, specific trial protections are proliferating. They are mainly vests with chest and back protection, made of more flexible materials that guarantee a perfect absorption of the blows.
In the case of children, there is also age-specific child trial equipment. It is convenient that they are always equipped correctly and ensure that they have freedom of movement on top of the bike. All this equipment can be found in a specialized trial shop.
