SPIDI Genesis: because a leather jacket can also be warm, but it's not cheap

We know that winter is a bad time to take the motorcycle, especially if you live in an area where the cold and weather conditions are more adverse. To combat this cold, the Italian brand SPIDI has just launched a leather jacket on the market that will protect you from bad weather without sacrificing design and comfort.

This is the SPIDI Genesis, a jacket created to dress your day-to-day in leather without neglecting the necessary protection when you are going to ride a motorcycle, achieving the greatest comfort in urban environments.

SPIDI, the Italian motorcycle clothing company specialized in leather garments, has just launched the Genesis jacket on the market. A motorcycle jacket designed to offer users greater comfort in the urban environment.

And it is that with more than 45 years of experience in the manufacture of leather garments, SPIDI has a great knowledge on how to select, cut and choose the best pieces of this material. For this new model, buffalo leather with a thickness between 1 and 1.1 mm has been chosen, which helps this garment to achieve a comfortable fit with great durability and resistance.

Thanks to the development work of the transalpine brand's "Safety Lab", the Genesis jacket is certified according to standard EN 17092-3:2020 with class AA and incorporates removable Warrior Lite protections on the shoulders and Forcetech-type protections on the elbows, both certified EN1621-1:2012, while on the back it has an inner pocket in which a level 1 or 2 Warrior series back protector can be installed, although it is not included as standard.

To guarantee year-round use, the Genesis also has a removable thermal vest with 80 gr/m² lining and, thanks to the Step-In Wear system, an additional thermal or waterproof lining can be attached internally, although the latter are sold separately.

It also has vents on the front that help lower the temperature in the hottest seasons. In addition, it can be attached to any pants using a simple clip system, which is easily attached to the buckles.

The SPIDI Genesis jacket is available in three color combinations: Black, Black/White and Black/Red, in sizes from 46 to 62 and with a recommended retail price of €399.90, VAT included.
