The viral message of a former Victoria Secret angel against the lingerie firm
The fashion industry is undergoing a process of change. Although in the early 90s beauty canons were very specific and demanding, more and more firms are promoting body positivity through models of all kinds. In this battle for inclusion, the most conscientious activists are their own protagonists. Sara Sampaio was one of the first to go from Victoria's Secret angel to champion of "real beauty." Adriana Lima also strives to show reality without filters on her social networks and Romee Strijd admits to being in love with her postpartum body, alleging that "the one she had before was not healthy." Now, Bridget Malcolm, also a former member of the cast of angels from the lingerie firm, lashes out at the firm and questions her own health in the years she modeled for it. His message is already viral.

Bridget Malcolm lashes out at Victoria's Secret and questions its desire for change
A few days ago we learned that the new management team of the lingerie giant, after being involved in countless controversies related to inclusion, homophobia and other racist behaviour, heralded a change of direction. Course that points to new representatives for Victoria's Secret that have nothing to do with the world of modeling: actresses, activists, Olympic athletes... However, there are those who still do not buy the will of the firm. Bridget Malcolm, for example, who walked the catwalk for her in 2015 and 2016 and, now, attacks the aesthetic demands that were imposed on her and how she was fired for not having a "good enough" body.
The model shared this message on Tik Tok and, a few hours later, it almost reached 3 million views and endless messages of support.

Bridget Malcolm's message for Victoria's Secret
The Australian model, who worked for the company in 2015 and 2016, has uploaded this video to her social networks. In it, Bridget tries on one of the bras with which she paraded and takes the opportunity to talk about the firm's "harmful atmosphere" and, in fact, laughs at her attempt to bet on diversity and female empowerment. "Too late, Victoria's Secret," he wrote as a caption. "I found this bra that I wore in the 2016 show. It's a size 30A and now I wear 34B, which is healthier for me," she wrote while trying on the lingerie piece in question. "Look how big I was in this photo ", he assures while showing a photograph from 2016. "The sadness that is in my eyes breaks my heart."
As if that weren't enough, the Australian, who now works for fashion brands that make her "feel good," points to a very specific former member of the company: Ed Razer. In his position in charge of the marketing department, he decided to do without the model for "not having a good enough body" when she went on to carve a 30B. "Victoria's Secret, your performance is a joke," concluded the model, in relation to the brand's recently released change of course. Back in 2017, Bridget Malcolm commented in an interview how her battle with an eating disorder at the time led to "a messed up digestive system and chronic anxiety." At 26 years old, the model refers to constant panic attacks and continuous social anxiety that would not let her leave the house.
